Dr. Mrs. Bisi Bamishe is the National President of the Albinism Association of Nigeria (AAN) and a leading voice for disability rights and inclusion. With over three decades in journalism, she has used her platform to advocate for persons with albinism, championing their access to healthcare, education, and employment while tackling discrimination and stigma. A lecturer at the Nigerian Institute of Journalism, Lagos, Dr. Bamishe combines media expertise with strong advocacy for policy reform and social justice. Her leadership at AAN and representation at the 2025 Global Disability Summit in Germany highlight her dedication to building a more inclusive Nigeria where persons with disabilities can thrive. She is a Fellow of Institute of Entrepreneurs, Nigeria; Associate member, Nigeria Institute of Public Relations (NIPR); Member, Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ); National Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ) and NECA Network of Entrepreneurial Women (NNEW). Mrs Bamishe is a lecturer at Nigerian Institute of Journalism, Lagos and has passion engaging youths in entrepreneurship.
