Barr. Sulayman is the Executive Director, Center for Penal and Justice Development - an NGO that strengthens the country’s criminal justice system and promotes regional cooperation in Africa and the Middle East. He is a governance and legal reform expert with decades of experience advancing transparency and justice in Nigeria. He serves as the Principal Partner at Crescent & Co Solicitors, Nigeria, and has consulted widely for international and national organizations, including the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), MacArthur Foundation, Center for Fiscal Transparency and Integrity Watch (CeFTIW), Policy and Legal Advocacy Centre (PLAC), Public and Private Development Centre (PPDC), and African Centre for Governance, Asset Recovery and Sustainable Development (ACGARS). His work focuses on anti-corruption, legislative reform, and justice sector transformation. He continues to provide technical leadership on governance, anti-corruption, and criminal justice reform projects across Nigeria.
